AmCham Ice-breaking party in Shenzhen and Guangzhou

The recent AmCham South China Ice-breaking parties were held at the lovely Fraser Place in Shenzhen on August 15^th and at the Shangri-la Hotel, Guangzhou on August 22^nd. Between the two events, nearly 200 AmCham South China members came together to welcome 100 new companies to the family!

Our many friends from the media also showed up, including Daily Sunshine, Lonely Writers Publishing, Shenzhen Daily, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, that’s PRD, China Business Journal, GDTV, Guangzhou English Channel, Let’s Go Magazine, Oggi, South China Talk and Wen Wei Po.

In Shenzhen, our members and friends enjoyed a fabulous buffet, music, and a live screening of the Olympic Women’s Volleyball primary between the U.S. and China. Attendees also had a chance to win a variety of packages from the Intercontinental Hotel in Shenzhen, including a deluxe room (for two!) and buffet lunches. In Guangzhou, ISWEAR Trading offered up some 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon from OMEGA Cellars, and the Shangri-La gave one lucky attendee a weekend stay in a Horizon Deluxe room with all of the executive Horizon benefits included!
