Sunshine, Beach, Sea… it is summer time! In AmCham’s tradition, we host Summer BBQ Party every year and enjoy amazing family-day event with our members, friends and families.

In order to bring something with more fun, we moved our annual BBQ to Dameisha, the beautiful beach side in Shenzhen, to enjoy fantastic summer time. Swimming, sand castles, beach volleyball, games, little gifts, clowns and luck draws… AmCham would like to provide all we could to bring fun and an excellent spread of summery and delicious treats to our guests!

Held this year at the beach of the Sheraton Dameisha Resort, our generous member, BYD Company Limited, gave fully support to this party by providing towels, buoys and bags to the guests. Mr. Sun Yi-Zao, Vice President of BYD, expressed warm welcome to all the guests and wished everyone would enjoy the delicious food and interesting games on the beach.

“It was also great that the weather cooperated after raining cats and dogs for the previous several days.” said AmCham President Harley Seyedin, “The party was great and enjoyed by all the people who attended!”

With more than 300 people participating in this event, the 2008 AmCham Shenzhen Beachfront BBQ Party ended among happiness and fun. Both adults and kids had a great time, and we hope to meet all of you in our coming events in Shenzhen!
