I am pleased to invite you to join us with a seminar discussing the hot topics related to import and export issues between China and US on October 29th, 2014.

 

Initiated by The US Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and The Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Bureau of Industry, Security, Import and Export Control, this seminar will help better understand both US and Chinese export licensing regulations. This is a unique opportunity to meet US and Chinese government officials, including Department of Commerce senior engineers and licensing officers, specialists in export management and compliance, interagency experts on US export control policy, as well as leaders from the newly established Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Bureau of Industry, Security, Import and Export Control.

 

The Deputy Under Secretary for BIS will bring an interagency delegation from State, Department of Defense, and Department of Commerce, to include technical specialists and licensing officials to discuss enforcement and compliance, licensing and policy in specific sectors such as IT, electronics, and aviation. 

 

This is a unique opportunity for Amcham members and their partners who export and import high technology items that require export control licenses. I am sure we all will have much to benefit from this seminar and I hope to see you there.
