the morning, AmCham South China and Department of Commerce
of Guangdong Province jointly held the U.S.-China Investment Discussion Panel with Topic on U.S. and Asia Pacific Finance, RMB Internationalization,
Cooperation Conference which was attended by senior Chinese AIIB, Asia Corporate Valuation, Risks
national, provincial and city leaders, corporate executives and other
distinguished guests.
In the afternoon, the plenary session themed “Areas of Opportunity
in Asia Pacific” was held as the official commencement of APCAC.
Many huge figures such as Consuls General of U.S. and U.K. attended
and delivered speeches. The afternoon continued with discussion
panels on topics of finance, tourism and immigration, and the Trump
administration.
Co-hosted by CIFIT and AmCham South China, a one-of-a-kind
dinner banquet followed in the evening, featuring traditional Chinese
performances and a feast in michelin-starred courses.
