angzhou has been ranked the most
preferred investment destination in China
for seven consecutive years, followed by Shenzhen,
Shanghai, and Beijing. Other cities favored by the
companies studied include Foshan, Dongguan,
Zhuhai, Huizhou, Chengdu, Nanjing, and Xiamen.

In this year?? findings, the attractiveness of
free trade zones (FTZ) in South China has
significantly enhanced. 40% of the companies
studied express their interest in setting up new
offices or facilities in free trade zones in South
China, a rise of 26% from 2022 and even higher
than the 2019 level. Nansha Area of Guangzhou
enjoys the highest popularity (57%) among
the companies studied, followed by Qianhai &
Shekou Areas of Shenzhen (48%) and Hengqin
New Area of Zhuhai (26%).
