Summary

Guizhou is driving an economic transformation
that moves beyond its traditional resource-reliant
development model. Leveraging its mineral
resource advantages, the province is accelerating
the growth of the energy industry, positioning it as
a key pillar for strengthening the local economy,
promoting green transition and supporting the
development of industries within a modernized
framework. At the same time, Guizhou is
advancing market-oriented approaches to unlock
new value from data, taking the lead in areas
such as data ownership confirmation, trading
mechanisms, market pricing and profit models.
In sectors such as manufacturing, tourism and
agriculture, the province implementing targeted
initiatives to address challenges and accelerate the
development of an ¡°AI + industry¡± ecosystem. By
2027, Guizhou aims to create more than 500 large-
model application scenarios, laying the foundation
for an AI industrial ecosystem with distinctive
Guizhou characteristics.
