Showcases Leadership at

CIFIT 2025

he American Chamber of Commerce in South China
T(AmCham South China) once again underscored its
leadership and influence at the 25th China International
Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), held in Xiamen, Fujian
Province. As one of the longest-standing international
participants of CIFIT, AmCham South China has led a strong
U.S. delegation for more than 22 consecutive years. This
year was no exception, with over 50 American enterprises
spanning pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, artificial
intelligence, and infrastructure joining the chamber¡¯s
delegation to explore new opportunities in China.
During CIFIT 2025, the AmCham South China delegation
actively engaged with key regional stakeholders to promote
U.S.-China subnational cooperation. The delegation held
high-level meetings with officials from the Fujian Department
of Commerce to discuss regional investment opportunities,
and met with Guizhou provincial leaders to explore potential
economic and trade collaborations. Members also participated
in the Gulangyu Forum, engaging in cross-sector dialogue on
innovation and sustainable development, and attended the
China Provinces?U.S. States Economic & Trade Cooperation
Exchange, which provided a platform for in-depth discussions
on strengthening subnational economic ties. These efforts
culminated in their attendance at the opening ceremony of
the 25th CIFIT & International Investment Forum 2025, further
highlighting the chamber¡¯s leadership and visibility throughout
the event.
On September 9, 2025, during the 25th CIFIT in Xiamen, the
China Provinces?U.S. States Economic & Trade Cooperation
Exchange was held under the theme ¡°Strengthening U.S.-
China Subnational Economic and Trade Cooperation for Win-
Win High-Quality Development.¡± Hosted by local authorities
and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export
of Machinery and Electronic Products, the event was co-
organized by AmCham South China, whose President Dr.
Harley Seyedin delivered keynote remarks highlighting the
vital role of subnational cooperation in deepening practical
business ties and promoting high-quality, sustainable growth.

Cooperation Seminar, AmCham South China President Dr.
Harley Seyedin delivered a keynote address that resonated
strongly with delegates and media alike. ¡°We are gathered
