Industry

When categorized by diverse industry segments, almost 30% of participating
companies are engaged in the business of manufacturing, followed by financial
services, as well as wholesale and retail. The breakdown of the remaining segments
are distributed evenly. When respondents are classified according to broad industry
categories, professional services ranks number one with a total of 41.61%, which
is followed by those in the primary and secondary sectors of 35.65%, and those in
consumption products and services of 19.33%. In other words, while a slight majority of
respondents are involved in the tertiary sector, manufacturing companies still occupy a
prominent position.
